Elsbeth Struijk van Bergen is an Amsterdam-based photographer who graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. She is the recipient of multiple grants, and her work was published in Visionaire’s Fashion 2000, edited by Alix Browne (Rizolli International), and in Desire, edited by Patrick Remy (Steidl). Her series Dames van Zuid / Faces from Beethoven Street was published as a standalone publication (L.J. Veen Publishers). Notable recent projects include a commission to photograph a newly restored residential Gerrit Rietveld project, resulting in the publication Rietveld’s Robijnhof (Thoth Publishers).
Elsbeth Struijk van Bergen has worked with international publications and agencies including Numéro, ELLE, Esquire, FRAME, Surface, Crash, Jalouse, Visionaire Publishing, Selfridges Group LTD, Wieden+Kennedy, JWT, and BBDO.
